Pacific Coastal Insurance Agency LLC d/b/a Pacific Grande Insurance Agency (“Pacific Grande”) and Western States Wildfire Services Company (“Western States”) respect your privacy. In this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Pacific Grande and Western States, each with respect to the Personal Information it collects and uses.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect Personal Information in connection with your use of websites that link to this Policy (the “Site”) and our related communications, marketing, and advertising activities, as well as Personal Information we obtain from other sources. This Policy applies to Personal Information as defined under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), and does not apply to information that is deidentified or aggregated such that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.
SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
This Policy primarily addresses Personal Information collected for website operation, analytics, marketing, advertising, and related business purposes, including information obtained from other sources for those purposes. The CCPA disclosures and rights described in this Policy apply only to Personal Information subject to the CCPA.
The CCPA does not apply to Personal Information collected, used, or disclosed in connection with an insurance transaction to the extent that information is governed by the California Insurance Code and its regulations. Certain Personal Information governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act may also be exempt from the CCPA, subject to applicable exceptions. Whether an exemption applies depends on the information and how it is collected and handled, not simply on whether you are an insurance customer. Nonexempt website, marketing, and advertising information remains subject to the CCPA disclosures and rights described in this Policy.
If we intend to process Personal Information for purposes not described in this Policy, we will provide notice and, where required, obtain your consent prior to such processing.

They do not apply to insurance-transaction information or other information to the extent exempt from the CCPA, including qualifying information governed by California insurance privacy laws or the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. You may have separate rights concerning that information under the applicable law. An insurance relationship with us does not prevent you from exercising CCPA rights over nonexempt Personal Information we maintain about you.
